General Information
  1. Registration acceptance begins  Jan 22nd, 2008 at 3:00 pm.  Forms Received before  1/22/08 will be held and entered on 1/23/08.  Forms postmarked after  3/31/08 will be assessed a $25 late fee and registration held until roster spots become available, register early for best chance of any requested placement.
  2. Please download and read the Parent Information File (Adobe pdf format)
  3. Out of Town Teams Please download and read the Out of Town Registration Information
  4. Would you like to be up to date on the Rules of the game, click on these files so you are prepared for the season (2008 GEYL Handbook, 2008 End of Season Softball Rules, USSSA Baseball, USSSA Softball)
  5. Teams are filled on a first come first serve basis.
  6. Regardless of the number of scheduled games, each division is guaranteed 5 games, including tournament games.  Games lost due to weather may not be rescheduled or game time may be shortened.
  7. Age Divisions are determined by Players age as of  05/01/08  for baseball and  01/01/08 for softball.
  8. Players residing outside Greeley or Evans please add $5.00 non-resident fee. Click here for more info
  9. Volunteer coaches needed - Please see back of Form
  10. Play up Forms are also available at Gojo Sports and Gojo Sports West, No player may play down and age division.  Disqualification and forfeiture will result.
  11. Coaches will contact Players the week of  April 21st, 2008 and after teams are filled
  12. Games start the week of  May 19th, 2008 and run through the last week of July 2008
  13. Practice schedules are determined by the Coaches after teams are filled
  14. Practices may be held around town in locations ranging from parks to schools to the practice fields at the GEYL Youth Sports Complex - This will be determined by your Coach
  15. Equipment each Individual may need (Ball Glove, Bat, Baseball Pants (color determined by coach), Sliding Shorts, Cup (required 8yo and up and catchers in machine pitch), Socks (color determined by coach), Heart guards, Batting gloves, Batting Helmets, Equipment bag, Baseballs or Softballs, Shoes)  (These items are just a suggestion and may vary depending on your individual needs)
